Lush Angels on Bare Skin Facial Cleanser│Review & Photos

angels on bare skin 1

Angels on Bare Skin ($.13.95) is a kaolin clay-base facial cleanser that contains ground almonds which gently exfoliate dead skin but it's not too harsh so it can be used everyday. It also contains rose and lavender oils to help balance out combination skin. Application is not as messy as I thought it would be, when mixed with water, it transforms into a paste. It smells heavenly and I've noticed my skin is softer. I've added this cleanser to my routine and use it in the am and pm after removing my makeup. In comparison to other cleansers (either liquid or solid soaps) it doesn't dry my skin and even though I apply moisturizer afterwards I feel like I wouldn't need to. Is that good!

  1. I might need to try this. My face is so dry! Currently I am using the Benefit cleanser and moisturizer. I love them but I kinda want to go more natural.

    1. I like the Benefit triple performing facial emulsion, I've used it for a few months. I think it's a nice moisturizer for normal to combination skin. Though I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin. xx

  2. Gah I'm so used to seeing this in the rolls, it really freaked me out to see it in a black pot lol. Angels on bareskin doesn't quite work for my skin but Buche de Noel a seasonal cleanser very similar to AOB works wonders. Love it. My fav combo right now Coalface followed up with Buche de noel. Coalface is a super cleaner to help remove all dirt and oil, buche de noel exfoliates, softens, and balances coalface. =]

I haven't tried this before and at the moment I don't have a favourite cleanser, still on the look out for something that is great.
