Favourites: August 12
My August favourites! 3 days late but still counts :)
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum: a very elegant and luxurious fragrance and it's described as a fresh oriental fragrance that recalls the irrepressible spirit of the young Coco Chanel. I love the classic signature bottle and it smells glorious!
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Nectar: this powder has five bars of luminous colours that give my cheeks a perfect and soft coral glow. I love to use it as a highlighter over peach and rose blush. The bars can also be used as eyeshadows!
Revlon ColorStay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin: a medium coverage foundation with a silky texture. After application, skin looks fresh and even. It's not matte but it isn't oily either. I tend to skip loose/compact powder with this foundation. The colour (200 Nude) matches my skin perfectly too! The only thing i don't like is that it doesn't come with a pump. Boo!
Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Cream: As of lately, I've had dry hands. I think it's because I wash them way too often! But this makes my hands soft and smooth! As it's name suggests, it smells like almond milk (yum! my fav). The cream is very thick and buttery, very nourishing and moisturizing. This is a smaller size than the original one, but it's perfect to take on your purse when going out.
Make Up Store Lip Care Mix: a perfect combo to keep my lips looking good! This mix has peeling, mask and lip balm all in one. The green cream is a mild peeling, i usually rub it and then leave it there for about 10 minutes. The white cream is a mask that can be used at night and day time as well, it's very effective when I leave it overnight! It's also perfect for removing lipstick. And finally the pink/red cream is a hydrating lip balm.
YSL Ombre Duolumiere: natural coloured shadows, perfect for everyday use! I couldn't find these shades on the YSL webpage, but the number 35 Soft Brown Duo looks pretty similar.
Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream: since I started beauty blogging, i became addicted to nail polish. Sometimes my cuticles get dry so I use this miracle worker from Burt's Bees, it's very soothing and it also helps strength weak nails.
